FAQ:

When do I need register and when do need to submit the plans for Accessibility review?

Per State law, all plans must be submitted to a RAS within 20 days of completing the documents. You will be required to provide a TABS number by the local jurisdiction upon submitting your plans for permit review. Typically plans will also be sent for Accessibility review at this time to have any comments or corrections incorporated with the City comments.

Can we ask you questions before submitting for permit?

Yes. Please feel free to reach us via email or phone for any questions you may have. See contact page.

Do you need a printed set for review? Can I just email the signed forms?

To support the Green environment, we do all review electronically. You simply need to email a PDF copy of the plan. This saves time and printing cost. With the new TABS system, all signed forms can also be emailed. No more physical copy required. We are now 100% electronic. email to yaljiboury@clearrouteaccess.com.

When do I need to have the project inspected?

You will need to file a request for inspection within 30 days upon completion of the project and obtain an inspection from a RAS no later than the first anniversary of the completion of construction.

Do I need to have the same RAS do the inspection as the one who did the plan review?

No, a different RAS may do the inspection. Previously reviewed projects by a different RAS must be first transferred. Please contact us prior to filing a request for inspection.

I got a notice for overdue inspection notice from TDLR. Can you help us?

Yes, we can help you get your overdue project reviewed and/or inspected for Texas Accessibility Standards compliance. Please contact us to discuss the situation.
